Some Wonderful Garden Tours
Whilst we are in lockdown we are missing a very magical time in Britain’s gardens.
Hopefully, you have your own garden and perhaps having a little more time on your hands, you might have some lovely displays of your own. It’s getting harder and harder to get hold of bedding plants and annuals with all the garden centres closed but do send us your pictures in, we’d love to share them. We’ll be sharing more gardening tips in the future such as what to do with spring bulbs and spring pruning.
We thought you might enjoy some tours around some of our very favourite gardens. The tour around the gardens at National Trust Greenway House, Agatha Christie’s beautiful old holiday home near Brixham is very special. The garden is know for its many varieties of camellias tucked away in the woodland garden as well as bright pink and white magnolias and the wonderful wildlife that comes from its spectacular setting on the River Dart.
Buscot Park Gardens is another of our favourites - situated in the outstanding countryside on the edge of the Cotswolds. The Four Seasons Garden is a walled garden with a mass of spring bulbs, flowering trees, climbing roses and fruit interplanted by vegetables. There is a woodland walk that leads to one of England’s finest water gardens designed by Harold Peto. We hope you enjoy this lovely tour of the gardens with Lord Farringdon.
